1. Narrative - Visual response to the lyrics or not a complete story (Disjointed and left on a cliff hanger).
2. Editing - Break the conventions of continuity editing (no rules, you can include whatever you wish).
3. Camera Movement and Framing - Establishing shots are one of the key features of a music video. Mid shots and close ups are also key for a music video.
4. Diegesis - The world inside the music video
